About Us
Academic Ninjas offers Reading and Math (small group) classes, as well as, individual tutoring sessions for grades TK/Pre-K-6.
We teach budding readers to read and help struggling readers become STRONG readers. We, also, assist students in gaining a deeper understanding of reading in our reading comprehension courses while covering many of the state standards/ I Can statements.
Academic Ninjas offers classes for little learners who may need additional support with adding and subtracting, or multiplication and division. Our ultimate goal is to help students become confident in the most fundamental subjects so that they may be confident as they begin to venture into other subjects. We, at Academic Ninjas, believe that every child can learn with persistence and consistency.
Mini Number Ninjas
(Grades Pre-K-K)
Introduce your little learner to Mini Ninjas Math. We take your TK-K through the 12's family in both addition and subtraction. Along with working with the Math fact families, your child will be counting to 30 forward and backward, counting by 2's and learning his/her doubles (1+1=2, to 12+12=24). In this classroom, the Number Ninjas technique will be used to help your student develop the confidence needed to succeed in Math. Give your student the foundation needed to succeed in Math through Number Ninjas.
Number Ninjas 1-2
(Grades 1-2)
In this class your 1st -2nd grader will focus on addition and subtraction facts. The Number Ninjas technique will be used to help your student develop the confidence needed to succeed in Math. Give your student the strong foundation needed to succeed in Math through Academic Ninjas.
Math Masters 3-Up
(Grades 3+)
In this class your 3rd - 6th grader will focus on multiplication and division facts. The Number Ninjas technique will be used to help your student strengthen his/her multiplication and division facts. Academic Ninja will help your student build the foundational skills needed to be confident in Math.

Phonics Warriors
(Grades Pre-K-K)
This is an awesome class for your budding/ beginning reader. In this class, your student will learn how to combine letters to make words. The Academic Ninja technique will be used to help your child begin reading simple readers and build the foundation needed to be a confident reader.
Word Ninjas
(Grades 1-2)
This is a great class for beginning readers who are ready for the next level. In this class, your student will learn how to read words with blends/ digraph and how vowels can change words. The Academic Ninja technique will be used to assist your child in becoming a confident reader.
Radiant Readers (Reading Comprehension)
(Grades 3-5)
This class will strengthen your scholar's Reading comprehension by working on vocabulary skills, various literature (informational texts, and short stories/texts, etc.). Your child will learn to identify details from various texts and identify story elements, author's purpose, etc. Students will gain a deeper understanding of reading while we cover many of the state standards (I Can statements).
Test taking strategies will be shared throughout our sessions.
Improving Reading Comprehension
(Grades 6-8)
This class will enhance your child's Reading comprehension level, and help him/ her gain a better understanding of various texts. Your student will learn how to grasp details from a story/text through various activities. Students will gain a deeper understanding of reading while we cover many of the state standards (I Can statements). Test taking strategies will be included throughout our sessions.

My name is Ms. A. I have been an educator over 20 years in public and private elementary.
I have taught in the homeschool community, and tutored in the private sector.
I have a passion for learning and for helping children. My desire is to help children develop/strengthen their foundation in specific subjects (Reading, Math, Reading Comprehension) so they can be confident and successful in those specific subjects.
